Laine Pelka is a photographer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She is  working as a freelance photographer, and photo editor, while developing her own body of work seen here.

 Laine grew up in the city, with parents who are artists. She spent her formative years in a darkroom, learning analogue photography, and the importance of perspective. And now she spends her time traveling, and diving; and has learned how to utilize her photographic eye, underwater.  Her passion for the ocean, travel, and working with people, inform her visual language.

Available to shoot portraits outside, or in a small, at home, studio set up, as well as events, or underwater. Will shoot in 35mm, 120mm, or digital. Prices will vary accordingly. Please reach out via email if you are interested in collaborating.
